Phil is Draw & Code’s marketing, PR, sales and blogging guru. He’s got the write stuff and can talk the talk, although Phil started writing professionally by accident rather than design; “It all began when I was invited to interview Jazzy Jeff for a music magazine.” That was back in Phil’s DJing days; “Music took me to all sorts of crazy places and inadvertently led to a career in writing.”

After a stint editing a magazine, creating the written identity for a health and fitness brand and then having a stint at an SEO company, Phil came back home with Draw & Code; “I knew a few of the Draw & Coders from the past, so it was logical that I would be brought in to do some of the many things that don’t involve either drawing or coding.”

Now Phil is to be found meeting and greeting clients, trying to drum up new relationships and generally shouting about the great work that Draw & Code do. “It is developing new ideas and tracking down new business that really gets me fired up” says Phil, “We look for partners and collaborators rather than your usual client relationships, so these meetings feel mutually beneficial, it’s never ever the hard-sell.”
